How to configure NOKIA IP265 Firewall
I have a Nokia IP265 Firewall at my client side but dont know how to configure it as i don't have any detail info about it? Can anyone help me ?

I am experiencing the similar problem now. I can't configure my NOKIA IP265 Firewall. The problem is that I actually have details and information about it, but I still can't manage to configure it properly. It is not working at all. Nokia firewalls have a web based GUI to configure the device called Voyager. You can use Voyager to configure most the device for the most part. It is GUI based and the options are very much self explanatory and easy. You could also use Clish commands to configure the device, but this might ask for a little more expertise. You can download manuals to use both voyager and clish from Nokia's website.

So far as checkpoint NGX is concerned, if this is a new device, then it should already have the software. You can enable or disabled from Voyager. If the software is not installed, then you will have to download it from Nokia's website. Your reseller might be able to help you in procuring the files.

I want to configure for lease line static network.with nating of ip & to give access list with ipaddress & port address.As of I don't know the basics of nokia firewall.And what are the software required to configure it?
Nokia Firewall Configuration
You need the following softwares to configure the Nokia Checkpoint Firewall:
1. The Nokia 265 is just a Unix box very similar to a Sun Solaris or Windows box. The only difference is that this box is manufactured by Nokia. It run on a stripped down version of FreeBSD. This OS platform is called IPSO Operating System. The system should have come preloaded with this software. There are different versions of IPSO. You can contact your Nokia Reseller with any questions on the IPSO build. Your reseller/Nokia should be able to give you the IPSO software if it is not already installed on the device. My guess is that it is already installed.
2. You can configure the initial part of the Nokia device by connecting to the device via the console port. You will have to put in a hostname, IP atleast one interface and the gateway. I recommend that you IP one interface with your internal network, and make the device reachable via your internal network. The prompts are easy and self explanatory.
3. Once you have IPed the device, you can connect to the device and configure it via Voyager using any Browser like IE or Firefox. If you are new, and help is limited, just click around...and use help.
4. Next thing you need is the Checkpoint Software. If it not already installed, you need to download and install the software on the device. You can do this via Voyager. This might be easy if you are new.
5. Once you have installed the checkpoint software on the Nokia device, next you would need to Install the Checkpoint Smartcenter server and the Checkpoint GUI Clients on any of your machines. Select a good machine for installing Smartcenter server. You can also make this your log server. The GUI client you can install even on your desktop.
6. You will have to use Smartdashboard (part of the Gui client) to configure the rule bases and policies, which includes access rules and NAT rules. The routes and arps you can put in via Voyager.
